Two days into the New Year, and 2015 is set to be stellar within the world of K Pop! To kick it all off, SM Entertainment updated their website recently with a curiously mysterious image. While the enigmatic image of a triangle forming onto a square did not reveal too much, it was more than enough for K-Pop fans across the globe to start venturing as to what the Korean entertainment juggernaut might be up to next.
Fortunately fans were not made to wait for too long; following months of intense speculation and passionate excitement, Shawol’s all over the world are rejoicing at the confirmation of Jonghyun’s January debut!
Well-known for his killer vocals, masterful compositional skills, and his dependable charisma, it seems that we are all going to be treated to seeing something different from Jonghyun; along with the announcement, a series of teaser images were simultaneously released on Friday morning (KST) showing a deeply reflective side of SHINee’s singing sensation.
Jonghyun’s first solo mini album BASE is reported to be digitally released on the 12th of January. While we all impatiently wait for the MV to drop, SM Entertainment has spoiled us with an unbearably short teaser. While there is no confirmation on the sound of his first mini album, it is speculated that the single will be a rock track, undoubtedly showcasing his robust vocal ability.
