SHINee's Key and CNBLUE's Lee Jung-shin are the new hosts of popular K-pop chart show M COUNTDOWN.
Key and Jung-shin's first episode as hosts aired live on Mnet in Korea on Thursday March 19. Both new hosts performed to celebrate their new roles - Key was joined by the other four members of SHINee to perform "Love Like Oxygen" from their debut album, while Jung-shin sang a solo cover of Korean-American artist George Han Kim's "I Want to Fall In Love".
They were joined on Thursday by new supporting emceesGOT7's Bambam and Jr., whose role is to keep the show more entertaining and lively.
“I’m thrilled to meet our viewers every Thursday," says Key. "I promise to present the best of K-pop performances by awesome artists and musicians.”
Jung-shin says, “I’m happy and excited to host M COUNDOWN, which is loved by so many K-pop fans around the world. Key and I will be good partners in presenting the show.”
